Brandon School Division is excited to be opening a new Kindergarten to Grade 8 school in the Brookwood South community.  The new school is expected to be open and ready to welcome students in September 2027. 

Brandon School Division’s Board of Trustees is excited to share details about the new school. Please join us for an open-house style information session on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the library at Vincent Massey High School (715 McDiarmid Drive, Brandon) to learn about the project timelines, design features, and what to expect for the upcoming opening.

In collaboration with education partners from Assiniboine College, Brandon School Division, and Brandon University, we are pleased to advise that Our Journey: Celebrating Indigenous Student Success 2026 will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026. This annual celebration honours the educational success of our community’s Indigenous students.

• Noon – Hot Dog BBQ Lunch
