BSD High School Apprenticeship Program Partnership Appreciation

BSD’s High School Apprenticeship Program (HSAP) is all about on-the-job experience with an employer, providing practical, paid, work experience and credit towards a student’s high school diploma. The purpose of HSAP is to provide an opportunity for early entry in the trades and build interest with youth.

This year, we had 26 students participate in the program, including seven (7) Grade 12 Graduates, who each plan to continue their apprenticeship experience post-graduation.

At this time, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the various community businesses and organizations who employed our students through the HSAP. Your invaluable contribution and commitment to nurturing the next generation of professionals does not go unnoticed. By opening your doors and providing real-world experience, you have not only enriched our students’ educational journey but have also played a pivotal role in shaping their futures.

We look forward to continuing these partnerships and seeing more young students flourish under your guidance. Together, we are not just preparing students for the workforce but are also empowering them to become thoughtful leaders and innovators of tomorrow.
