Trustee Candidate Forum – October 6, 2026 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm
The Brandon Teachers’ Association and CUPE Local 737 are hosting a School Division Trustee Candidate Forum on Tuesday, October 6, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Evans Theatre at Brandon University, 240 - 18th Street, Brandon.
The forum provides an opportunity for community members to hear from candidates running in the upcoming School Division Trustee Election.

Advance Voting Opportunities
In addition to the voting opportunities on Election Day, Wednesday, October 28, 2026, the following advance voting opportunities will be available:
- Wednesday, October 14 from 8 am to 8 pm at Brandon City Hall
- Saturday, October 17 from 10 am to 6 pm at the Pioneer Lounge at the Keystone Centre
- Thursday, October 22 from 10 am to 6 pm at Brandon City Hall
An eligible voter may also apply to vote by sealed envelope if they have reason to believe that they will be unable to vote on Election Day or during the advance voting opportunities. For more information or to apply, visit Sealed Envelope Ballot | City of Brandon.
The 2026 Municipal and School Board Election will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
Call for Election Workers
Brandon Votes is seeking community-minded individuals to help deliver the upcoming municipal election. Successful applicants must be available to work the entire day on Wednesday, October 28, and will be paid for a full day, plus training. Paid positions are currently being sought for the roles of voting place supervisor, issuing official, and voting official at the various polling locations. Applicants will be required to successfully complete mandatory training, including a basic computer competency test. Residents who are interested in applying are encouraged to visit Election Workers | City of Brandon.
