Vincent Massey High School Celebrates Cultural Diversity with Successful Culturama Event
Brandon, MB — March 25, 2026 — Vincent Massey High School proudly hosted its annual Culturama event on March 23 and 24, bringing together students, staff, and the school community in a vibrant celebration of culture, diversity, and global connection.
The two-day event featured the participation of over 300 students and was made possible through the dedication of more than 40 staff volunteers, all of whom generously contributed their time and energy. The school community extends its heartfelt gratitude to these volunteers, whose commitment helped make the event a tremendous success.
Culturama showcased an incredible array of cultural pavilions representing countries and regions from around the world, including Caribbean/Ireland/Libya/USA, China, Colombia/Cuba/Honduras, El Salvador, Eritrea/Kenya, Ethiopia, India, Indigenous cultures, Korea, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Somalia/Sudan, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
Each pavilion offered a unique experience, featuring authentic cuisine, engaging displays, and dynamic, unforgettable performances. Students, staff, parents, and local businesses spent countless hours preparing delicious traditional foods and organizing performances that highlighted the richness and diversity of each culture.
The event provided an opportunity for students to share their heritage, learn from one another, and foster a deeper appreciation for the multicultural community within the school. From music and dance to food and storytelling, Culturama created an inclusive and welcoming space where diversity was not only recognized but celebrated.
Vincent Massey High School is incredibly proud of all those who contributed to this event and looks forward to continuing this meaningful tradition in the years to come.
