Fair Day is back, and will be happening at Waverly Park School on Tuesday, March 3rd!  Students in grades 1-8 are welcome to participate, but not required to.  All projects are to be completed at home under parental supervision.  Projects are to be brought to school and set up in the gym on fair day.

The 4 fairs offered this year are: 

1.      Science Fair – this fair is judged. Projects selected by the judges will be eligible to move onto the Western Manitoba Science Fair. Projects must follow the scientific process.

2.      Visual Art Fair – this is a project that allows students to share their artistic talents (paint, draw, sculpt, etc).  

3.      Discovery Fair – this is a project about any topic that is of interest to a student.  It may include simple research; it may be an invention, or it may be a collection of items that they would like to share. 

4.      Historica – this is a project with a Canadian Theme. 

***Visual Art, Discovery and Historica fairs are NOT judged and are done just for fun!  For more information on the different types of fairs and requirements, please visit the Waverly Park website. 

Students will be bringing information and entry forms home.

Entry Forms are due into the office by Friday, February 13th .

The Brandon Community Youth Wellness Coalition invites parents/guardians, students & community members to the Brandon Community Youth Wellness Fair on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at Vincent Massey High School, 715 McDiarmid Drive, Brandon.  

This annual event brings together service providers and community groups committed to supporting the health and well-being of young people in our community. The event provides an opportunity for partners to share programs, resources, and expertise with students and families while helping to build a stronger, more connected network of youth supports in Brandon.

When:                 Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
                            Meet with your community partners and join us for some pizza & door prizes!
                            Childcare will be provided, if needed. 

Where:                Vincent Massey High School, 715 McDiarmid Drive, Brandon 

Who:                    Featured participants include mental health experts, youth advocates, and local professionals sharing their knowledge and lived experiences. 

This FREE public event will bring together youth, parents, educators, and mental health professionals, where attendees have the opportunity to: 

  • Access supports in one place; 
  • Learn practical life skills; 
  • Explore programs and opportunities; and 
  • Build connections.


About The Brandon Community Youth Wellness Coalition: 
The Brandon Community Youth Wellness Coalition consists of representation from the following community-based organizations: Brandon Friendship Centre, Brandon Police Service, Brandon School Division, Child and Family Services, City of Brandon, Huddle Brandon, Prairie Mountain Health / Mental Health & Addictions Services, Prairie Mountain Health / Child and Adolescent Treatment Centre, Southern Chiefs Organization / Jordan’s Principle, and SPIN (Suicide Prevention Implementation Network). 

We work collaboratively to ensure our students can easily access information and supports within our community to strengthen their wellness and raise awareness of issues currently affecting the youth population in Brandon.
