Grade 9 Orientation (Wednesday, September 9, 2026)

Welcome to Crocus Plains Regional Secondary School! We are excited that you will be joining us for Grade 9. 

Here is some important information we would like to share with you for school start-up. Grade 9s will have a half-day orientation on Wednesday, September 9th. 

  • Students with last names starting with A-K will attend Crocus Plains from 9:00 - 11:30 am
  • Students with last names starting with L-Z will attend Crocus Plains from 1:00 - 3:30 pm

During this time, you will receive information about your lockers, learn about what Crocus Plains has to offer, navigate the hallways, and meet your classroom teachers. Please see below for a suggested school supplies list:

  • 2 Binders
  • 10 Pencils
  • 10 Pens
  • 1-2 Erasers
  • Pencil case
  • Loose leaf
  • Scientific calculator
  • Ruler
  • 1-2 Highlighters
  • Backpack
  • Water bottle
  • Gym clothes and athletic shoes

In addition, further program-specific supplies may be needed. Teachers will inform you of these items once classes begin. 

September 9th is also Grade 9 Picture Day. Lifetouch will be in the building taking everyone's school photo that day! 

Grade 9 Parent Info Night will be held Thursday, September 10th. We will be offering two sessions - one beginning at 5:00 pm and another beginning at 6:00 pm.
