  • DEBIT IS NOW AVAILABLE!!! A debit machine is now available at the school to make payments faster and more convenient. It can be used for canteen purchases and school/sport fees. Please note that the machine accepts debit and credit cards. Cash, cheque, and School Cash online payments will still be accepted!

  • Peer Tutoring is available every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch in the Library for any and all students.

Upcoming Events

  •  Grade Wars is coming up on Thurs, June 4 in the afternoon outside!

  • Get ready Spartans because next week is Grade Wars! So, to lead up to it we have a Spirit Week (June 1st-5th)! 

    • Monday - Meme Day, dress as your favourite meme. 
    • Tuesday - Bring Anything But a Backpack. 
    • Wednesday - We Wear Pink 
    • Thursday - Grade Wars Colours. 9-yellow 10-blue 11-red 12-green Life skills-purple 
    • Friday - Vacation Clothes

Extra Curricular

  • Cooking Class and Beading every Wednesday after school in the Suite with Mrs. Moar
  • Youth In Philanthropy (YIP) meets every Tuesday at lunch
  • GSA (Gender & Sexuality Alliance) meets every Friday at lunch

  • Registration packages are now overdue. Please review, sign and submit back to the office ASAP.

Punch cards are available for $20 (cash or cheque). See Mrs. Meek in the front office or Mrs. Lair in the canteen if you would like to purchase one. 

Debit is now available for canteen purchases!!


REMINDERS

  • Just a reminder that hats/toques/hoods are not to be worn in the school. Backpacks and jackets are to be kept in your locker and lockers are to be locked at all times!
  • Reminder that we are a scent free school. Please refrain from using perfumes, colognes, or other highly scented products. 
  • Reminder as well about the cell phone policy in place at Neelin.  No cell phones are to be seen or used by any student during instructional time (either in the classroom or in the halls), unless authorized by a teacher for educational purposes. Cell phones are allowed during class transitions, lunch, spares, and before/after school.
  • Please remember that our library is a quiet space for students to work that is a no-food zone. Please work quietly and do not eat in the library.
  • Reminder when purchasing food from the canteen to please return the reusable plastic baskets!
