2025-2026 COURSE CHANGE REQUESTS 

 

  • After August 18, PowerSchool will open for students to view their timetable. New Grade 9 students will receive their timetables in the mail.  


  • Starting August 25, students can request course changes by adding their name to the course change request list at the school’s front office. You can get onto the list by calling 204-729-3180, emailing wowchuk.becky@bsd.ca, or by stopping in at the front office.  


  • Due to the volume of requests made in the first week of school, counsellors will not take course change requests via Teams, email, or voicemail. All requests must go through the front office.  


  • Course change requests will be processed starting on September 3. It will take a few days to complete all the requests. Students are required to attend their current courses until the course change has been approved.  


  • New registrations over the summer will be booked an intake meeting with their designated counsellor starting September 2.  



Students have a variety of supports available during their time at Neelin.  This includes personal and academic counselling, educational programming support, referrals to community services, and cultural support.  Students and families are welcome to contact school staff to set up appointment times with designated student services personnel.
